The first Provincial Chapter of Spark of Brilliance will be launched in Kitchener/Waterloo in 2009 serving the K/W region and neighbouring communities. 

The Ontario Trillium Foundation has granted the award-winning organization $187,000 to expand into 3 new regions during the period 2009 to 2012. 

A community-wide Kitchener/Waterloo Provincial Planning Forum will be held on Monday June 1 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm location to be announced.

Key Stakeholders from the existing 3 Local Chapters in Guelph, North & Centre Wellington and Dufferin Counties, will share experiences in launching and sustaining a successful Spark of Brilliance Chapter in their communities.

Input and idea-sharing will be elicited from representatives of a cross-section of the region including the business, arts, mental health & special needs sectors. Community Partners, Participants, Creative Mentors, Volunteers, Steering Committee Members, Sponsors, and many other areas of involvement will be open for discussion.
